Halloween - Pebbles - Too Cute to Spook

Hello everyone.  I have a lot going on that I can't get into right now, but I wanted to do a quick post about this Halloween Layout I made.  Like I said in my previous post, I really love the new DCWV Halloween stack and on the back they had a great page idea that I liked.  So I used it as inspiration and changed it up to work with my photos.  Since my little girl is such a cutie, I knew that I wanted an equally cute paper doll to match, so I created a Pebbles paper doll.  Next to her I added a cute little pumpkin from Doodlecharms with some googlie eyes. My friend Elizabeth had these perfect sticker letters, so I decided to punch some circles (some of different sizes) to create my title.  I also used some cotton to create a web from the title to add the dangling spider.

Here's the cute doll which I created to perfectly match my cutie with an adorable pumpkin and spider overhead...

I doodled on the dress to make it match hers!

A bit closer look at the title...

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
My Craft Spot -  Too Cute to Spook
You Had Me @ Craft...

Oh, and I almost forgot, in looking at the new challenge over at Frosted Designs, I saw that I was chosen as the Winner for their previous "Fussy Cutting" Challenge which I entered my "Meet the Flinstones" layout, so that was a nice bit of much needed good news.

I hope you enjoyed the layout and please leave a comment - I love to read those!

All Dressed Up for Halloween

The Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge was meant for Halloween!  It just goes hand in hand!  I had a lot of fun creating the different outfits and using a variety of hairstyles.  I also found some great embellishments on this cartridge, as well, like the tree and cat, the castle and the trick or treat bag.  The title is using Cuttin' Up.

This layout showcases our pictures from last year's Halloween.  We were the Flinstones - Fred, Wilma, Pebbles and Bam-Bam.  My nephews and sister dressed up, too.  Here's the layout and lots of close-ups...of course, everything is stickled and popped!

Tomorrow I will post some pictures of my family's creative costumes for this year!
See you then!

Oh Baby! Diaper Cakes & More!

Only a couple days left till my little Sofi's 2nd birthday!
As promised, today I'm going to share all the cute details of my baby shower.
The sign was for the entrance.  Most all of it is using New Arrival.  The font above is from Alphalicious.

The centerpieces for my tables were diaper cakes and I made six!  There are ALOT of cuts, because each diaper cake had three large images plus their inverses (which were all different).  There are also the Baby Sofia and flowers on each of the six diaper cakes.

But to really appreciate them, you have to see them up close up so here goes...

This one was the center of the food table

But I really have to share my favorite part of my baby shower, the reason why I originally got the paper doll dress up cartridge.  I wanted to play a different game at my shower and being as obsessed with scrapbooking as I am, I wanted it to be a "scrappy" kind of game.  So I came up with "Dress the Baby". We created boxed kits to give to each table with a paper doll cut out and scraps of paper, sequins, yarn, buttons, and more.  We also gave them a glue stick and some glue dots and gave them a time limit for them to create the dolls.  Everyone was so into the game that a friend of mine walked in during the game and she wondered why it was so quiet - everyone was hard at work.  To my absolute surprise, this is what they came up with (I couldn't even pick a winner, they were all so cute!)...

Have a fabulous day!
