Birds of a Feather Layout

Hello everyone!  Finally got around to finishing this page I've been working on of my two kiddos.  I happen to LOVE this picture of them that I took, (reminds me of a magazine photo) I think it shows beautifully the genuine love my kids have for each other (and I hope they always have this bond).  So I wanted to focus on that for this page.  I had this cute "Love Birds" paper that just worked with the photo.  I cut out one of the cute little birds and the saying "I love you bunches" and I also added a "bunch" of flowers up top.  For the title, I had a little trouble, because "love birds" doesn't really go with them, but I finally settled on "Birds of a Feather".  So here is the final product...take a look...

Here's a close up the title, a mixed font title (my favorite) using Sesame Street Font and Baby Steps.

Rock On Rock Stars!

Today I finished these two layouts focusing on my little rock stars.  My kids are so musically inclined and they often make their own little rock band at home with all their instruments.  My niece has told me that the top pic on the layout has to be their first album cover if they ever become rock stars.  I totally agree!  Just check it out...

My original Rock Star is all about the music, all the time! I got a variety of pictures of him at age 3 & 4 in his musical mode (he's constantly with his iPod or my iPhone listening to the lastest music!) for the layout below with really cute paper I had found at Michael's.  Check it out below...

Here Comes Trouble & Owie

I recently bought the "B is for Boy" Cricut Lite cartridge and the car cut on that cartridge was a primary reason why - I love it! I had the perfect pictures to be able to use it on in the layout below. I find the Cricut Lite cartridges a little pricey, but I must say, they layer super easily and beautifully!! Here is the layout of my little Sofi and MJ, too...

Had to add a bow, Sofi is always wearing one...
The title is from the cartridge, too!
Decided to make a cute key chain to hang the cute keys (also from the cartridge!) to write my journaling...

This cartridge also has an OWIE title that inspired me to scrap these hilarious pictures that I have of my kiddos during a doctor's visit. I took them to send to my husband, since he wasn't there, and it was quite an experience for me to deal with alone, but one that I decided to laugh at. He has shown these pictures to all of his friends, who have also found them hilarious. My best friend had the best narration of her take of the two photos which I decided to journal. Take a look...
