Drama Queen Layout

Hello everyone!  As promised, I have another layout to share with some more funny photos.  First I have to tell you the back story.   Since my daughter was a baby, I knew that she was going to be a drama queen.  I've never seen tears come out so quickly on anyone!  Now, the funny part is, she would really only cry when she heard the word "No!".  She would fall and be ok, but hearing the word "No!" would have her in tears in an instant.  On one of those occasions, I had my camera handy and I captured the whole sequence (which all happened in about 10 seconds) of her playing, hearing the word "no" and the resulting tears and drama because I knew I had to scrapbook it!  So here is this layout titled "The Makings of a Drama Queen" with the whole sequence...Enjoy!

I used a lot of different fonts to create the title:
Opposites Attract, Alphalicious, Don Juan and Gypsy Wanderings

The photo mat was created using a Martha Steward all around the page punch.  I added a bling crown to her head and more "drama"...

Here's the 2 page layout together...

I hope you like the layout!  Thanks for stopping by!

Memo Holders

For Christmas, I wanted to make the girls in the office a personalized memo holder for each of their desks as well as one for a friend of mine and one for my principal who loves Mickey Mouse.  I had previously made these for teachers, but this time I decided to change it up and make them suitable for each person's individual likes and tastes.  I love the way these came out!  Check them out below...

This is the view from the other side...

And here are each individually...

There's a little embossing, doodling, stickling and popping (of course, lol) and my cricut always seems to be used.  I just love how different they can all look.  I hope you like them, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

To Infinity and Beyond...

We recently went to Kennedy Space Center which my son absolutely loved!!  I bought this picture of him as an astronaut because I thought it was beautiful.  So I created this page to hang on the wall of his room.  I used Opposites Attract to create the title, which I welded on my gypsy.  I used George for the stars in different sizes and the dot, dot, dot.  I added stickles and popped the stars.  Here is the layout with some close-up shots so you can see the details...

Tomorrow is a new challenge at Fantabulous Cricut, so check back then for my DT project for the week!  Tomorrow is also the Class Kickoff party at Paper Tree House Studio and I have two great classes that I will be showcasing.  If you're in the Miami area, be sure to stop by - it begins at 6pm.
I have a lot to share this week so be sure to come back often!
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Thanks for stopping by...

Summertime BBQ & Fair Pages

I've been on vacation for the past week and haven't been able to post anything.  I've completed a couple layouts and I wanted to get them up for you all to see...

Over at Fantabulous Cricut, they have a BBQ challenge which gave me a perfect opportunity to make this layout for the end of summer BBQ that we are having today at my sister's house (so later tonight I can just print the pics and add them in!).  Here are some closeups of some of my cricut cuts...

My little BBQ master on the grill (from Everyday Paper Dolls), the title below is welded using my gypsy, which really allows me to use Opposites Attract, which I wouldn't otherwise if it wasn't welded.
******Updated Layout - Now with the pictures!!*******

So proud of myself because tonight, after I got home from the BBQ, I printed out the photos and finished the layout...AND I posted it tonight, too!  Here it is:

All the layouts below are just some simple ones from the Fair last year that I wanted to get scrapped quick...

The little car below moves with a little tab!
