Halloween House Layout

There are a couple challenges this week revolving a Halloween Theme - how appropriate!   I was just now able to finish this layout.  If I hurry, I might be able to enter it into the challenges before the time is up.  I started trying out some cuts from my new Mini Monsters cartridge last night after we finished the bags.  Today, after trick or treating and putting the kids to bed, I came into my scrapbook room with hopes of maybe getting a scrapbook page done and hooray, I was able to finish it!

Actually, I'm in love with it.  This cartridge is so very cute and easy to piece, especially because of the gypsy!  Every year during October, my son and I do some kind of halloween craft.  This year, I found this super cute foam halloween house in Michael's that was great for us to do together.  He was driving me crazy everyday with "mama, are we going to build the house today?" and the days continued to go by with not enough time to get it done.  About a week and a half ago, after dinner, my brother in law sat with him to get him started on the house and then I was able to sit and finish it with him.  He had a blast building it and it came out adorable.  We added it to our crafts from years past in the center of our dining room table.  That is the focus of this layout.  It all started with the house on the Mini Monsters cartridge.  Then I kept finding other cute cuts that i wanted to try out.  This is what it looks like when I put everything together...

When I went to print the pictures after I finished the layout, I realized that I ran out of ink, but I already know exactly what pictures are going where and what sizes I'm going to print them as soon as I get more ink.  But here are more close ups...
The left page...

The right page...

The frame with ribbon embellishments for one of my focal point photos of my two kiddos with the house...

You can't tell from this picture, but I embossed the roof to make it look tiled and then added stickles.   It has a lot of dimension (what a surprise, lol!)...

Close up of the title with the cute dangling spider, which I cut out from a paper and added google eyes to

I also added google eyes to the two "p"s in the title and stickled the web with frosted lace stickles to make it look more authentic...

Here is a close up of the bottom right with my witch and her brewing pot.  The ghost and gravestone are from a die cut pack that I had from last year.

It's all double popped!  I'm all about the POP!

Thanks for stopping by!  Please be sure to let me know you were here by leaving a comment below!  Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
